About Me
Hi, I’m Hagverdi Ibrahimli — currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Freiburg, focusing on Artificial Intelligence. I graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabancı University, with a minor in Behavioral Psychology and a GPA of ~3.8 (out of 4.0).
I’ve always been drawn to solving real-world problems with code — especially when it involves machine learning, data, and systems that scale. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on everything from smart campus systems to clustering algorithm analysis. Right now, I’m building on that foundation through both academic research and hands-on projects.
I enjoy working across the stack, but my main interests lie in AI, ML, and systems design. I’ve also been involved in research, teaching, and international exchange, and I’m always open to new challenges that help me grow.

Smart Campus Visual Analytics (Bachelor’s Thesis )
Designed a system to track crowd density on campus using live video streams and ML models.
Integrated E-commerce App
Led the development of a cross-platform e-commerce app for “Sederex” using Flutter and Firebase.
Global Health Data Platform
Built a full MySQL-based backend for storing and querying health statistics, with Python visualizations on top.
Image Classification with CIFAR-10
Worked on building and tuning image classification models.

Institute of Information Technology, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences — Jul 2023 - Sep 2023Worked on evaluating clustering algorithms in scikit-learn. I handled data preprocessing, applied multiple methods, and analyzed results to identify what worked and why. It was my first deep dive into real-world data challenges.
